Step 1: Inquiry Process
Inquiries are accepted year-round.
Step 2: Letter of Intent
The Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation accepts the Letter of Intent form on a year-round basis. The Foundation encourages that Letters of Intent that request more than $3,500 be submitted a month or more prior to Grant Deadlines.
Step 3: Application
Short Form applications requesting $3,500 or less are accepted year-round and a response will be provided within 10 business days.
The application submission deadline for organizations that have completed the Letter of Intent and have been invited to apply for grant consideration are: January 15th, April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th. If submission deadlines fall on a weekend or holiday, applications will be due the following business day by 5:00 pm. Applications are due, submitted online, by 5:00 pm CST on the deadline date. Applications received after the deadline date/time will not be reviewed. All applications to the Foundation will be accepted through the online application system.
The Foundation will consider multi-year support for selected programs that provide critical and important services in their fields, and will review, on case-by-case basis, requests for matching grants.
The Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation is unable to fund all the submitted proposals even if they meet program guidelines, as funding requests often exceed available dollars.
